Human languages are very human-centric. Makes sense because humans are the only Sapient creatures on Earth. But ‘humanity’ has been used for morals regardless of species in fiction. It’s like the word ‘people’. Words mean what we make them and I feel some rework needs to done in case of aliens or whatever
